But still the copper iud can cause infection to be trapped so you can get rid of symptoms of a infection but it never fully goes away. Ive had my IUD for 3 1/2 year and I’ve dealt with HEAVY periods, worsen cramps during period. Non stop bladder infections, and pain during intercourse. I am not telling anyone to do this.
